About The Project
Playing NBA2K has been a staple in many young boys’ lives and it can become very frustrating to play when you’ve hit a plateau, so what do you do? I designed this website to show NBA2k players how to have a better chance at winning the championship and finding community. This project was completed with the help of Figma for designing and HTML/CSS/Javascript along with accessibility tools for colorblind and visually impaired individuals.
Persona
I chose a persona that felt like related to young kids that I remember seeing growing up. They had a single parent who worked really hard to provide them a great life. The only way they could fit in our find comfort was through video games because they felt they could express themselves and no one would judge. This app I am creating will lowers their frustration when they hit a wall in the game they can have a place to learn how to get to the NBA2K championship and gain community.
Organizing the pages was important because my target audience is so young, and I needed the website to be clear and easy for teens to navigate.
